Reinforcing our Commitment

Civic engagement takes many forms to provide effective citizen participation—litigation, legislation, and advocacy for justice. The community needs an advocate to speak for its needs and aspirations. We support advocacy and assist community leaders with training, information, and strategic resources to facilitate effective civic participation.

This is how we do it…

Leadership Development
Community leadership often emerges when inspired people are passionate and committed to doing the necessary work to address a community need. We work with organizations to train, support, and equip leaders with tools for grassroots organizing as well as help them navigate the sometimes perplexing legislative and administrative processes.

Capacity Building
The whole is only as strong as the sum of its parts. So, when it comes to affecting lasting change, we understand that it is not enough to simply train inspired leaders, we must also work to develop the processes and systems that support them. We help organizations identify development opportunities and tailor specific strategies to build capacity to affect lasting change.

Community Relations
When leaders understand the issues our communities face, they are better positioned to make decisions that yield positive results for everyone. We leverage our relationships with elected officials, industry leaders, celebrities, and social media influencers to raise awareness, improve community relations, and drive positive change.

The summer of 2020 brought a tidal wave of attention and public concern over issues of social equality and justice. While focused on policing and fairness in law enforcement, the issues exposed more pervasive issues affecting communities of color. Citizens in America and even abroad, put their feet to the pavement to express the need for change. Governments and corporate leaders alike felt the fresh and urgent need to respond, and we were able to help them do just that.
